A special seminar on "Impact of US Trade Policy on Stock Markets" was organized at HRIT University, Ghaziabad, in collaboration with ICAI’s CICAS Ghaziabad branch. The session provided valuable insights into how US trade policies—including tariffs, export restrictions, trade agreements, and monetary strategies—affect global investor sentiment and contribute to volatility in the Indian stock market.
Discussions focused on sector-specific impacts, highlighting IT, pharma, and metal industries, with data-driven analysis of key factors such as the US-China trade war, interest rate hikes by the US Federal Reserve, and dollar fluctuations.
