Dear HRITU Community:

Higher education scenario globally has witnessed significant change in approach and remarkable growth. Higher education in India too, has readily adapted to the global demands and every institution has geared up to meet the global challenges by harnessing the latest technologies in education front.  The move towards inter-disciplinary studies, research based and interactive learning with technology integration have opened up several options as well as created multiple challenge. India is at the juncture where the huge population of young men and women are opting for higher education.

HRIT University has introduced structured training programs on soft –skills and preparatory training for competitive examinations are offered to make students more employable and towards an excellent placement. The entrepreneurship development activates and establishment of “Technology Incubation Centres” in the University extend full support to the budding entrepreneurs to nurture their ideas with innovation creativity and establish an enterprise for knowledge transfer and wealth creation. We are developing model to give opportunity to our Country’s young community to have international exposure. The major focus is on creating and optimized and vibrant platform for quality in knowledge enhancement and bridging the gap between academic and industry with an objective to build up core competence in students integrating knowledge with skills on the foundation of ethics & values.

A strong believer and practice of the dictum “Knowledge is Power”, HRIT University has been on the path of delivering quality education by developing the young human resource with ethical and moral values, while boosting their leadership qualities, research culture and innovative skills. HRITU Campus is built on a sprawling land area with lures greenery, serves as the permanent campus HRIT University, their “Temple of Learning” has excellent and state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities conductive to higher teaching-learning environment and research. The main objective of the University is to provide higher educations of global standard and hence, all the programs are designed to meet international standards. Highly experienced and qualified faculty members, continuously engaged in the maintenance and enhancement of students – centric learning environment through innovative pedagogy, from the backbone of the University.

As programs offered by HRIT University follow the choice Based Credit System (CBCS) with outcome based approach. The flexibility in the curriculum has been designed with industry- specific goals is mind and the educator enjoys complete freedom to appropriate the syllabus by incorporating the latest knowledge and simulating the creative minds of the students. Bench marked with the course of studies of various institutions of repute, over curriculum is extremely contemporary and is a result of brainstorming efforts of great think-tanks: a large number faculty members, experts from industries and research level organisations. The evaluation mechanism employs continuous assessment with grade point average. We believe sincerely that it will meet the aspirations of all stakeholders- students, parents and the employers of the graduates and post-graduates of HRIT University (formerly HRIT Group).

At HRIT University, research, consultancy and innovation are regarded as our pillars of success. The outcome of the research is passed on students through live projects from industries. The entrepreneurial zeal of the students is encouraged and nurtured. Our faculty teach students as Liberal Arts College model with research as base for teaching and approach towards problem solving ability and societal issues in mind.       

I strongly believe, the HRIT University in marching ahead in the right direction, providing a holistic education to the future generation and playing a positive role in nation building. We reiterate our endeavour to provide premium quality education accessible to all and an environment for the growth of over-all personality development leading to generating “Global Professionals”.   

I would like to conclude by quoting Guru Rabindranath Tagore that “The higher education is that which does not merely give us information, but makes our life in harmony with our existence”.
